In search of something lost, I delved into old photo albums. Those pictures that either ignited my heart with nostalgia (remembrance) or overflowed with the passion of life, the pictures that either poured a profound sorrow into my chest or evoked a vague sensation within me, they held a part of my being that had long been forgotten. With this return, I aimed to remember and rediscover it (that part of myself) anew. Perhaps through this recognition, my perplexity might find solace, and I could reclaim my own sanctuary.
The Self Portrait collection is an inner journey that commences from the past and traverses through the midst of today’s experiences and future dreams. It is a voyage of self-discovery to perceive my inner self, someone who is scattered among loved ones, today’s experiences, and future dreams.
