Being in a time and place different from our current reality briefly disrupts and interrupts the linear progression of time as it has formed in our minds.
This artwork aims to evoke an alternative possibility by using old photographs of the city where the performance is held. Pictures of buildings that were once familiar to the public but have now been completely destroyed or dramatically altered are printed on a large, mirror-like plate. This artwork creates a new path along the city’s pedestrian routes, guiding us to another time—a past we take pleasure in envisioning ourselves within.”
